Anti Bullying
At St Peter’s, we are committed to providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment where all pupils can grow and thrive. Rooted in our Mustard Seed vision and underpinned by our Christian values, we promote a culture of kindness, respect and honesty, where everyone is valued and supported.
Bullying is defined as behaviour that is repeated, intentional and aimed at causing harm, hurt or distress to another person. This can include physical, verbal, emotional or online (cyber) bullying.
Bullying of any kind is not tolerated. We recognise the impact it can have on pupils’ wellbeing and learning, and we are committed to addressing any concerns quickly and effectively. Pupils are encouraged to speak out and know that they will be listened to and supported. We actively promote an anti-bullying culture through our curriculum, collective worship and daily interactions. Pupils are taught to respect differences, build positive relationships and understand the importance of kindness and empathy.
Where concerns arise, we respond promptly, working closely with pupils and families to resolve issues and provide support for all involved. This includes supporting pupils who have experienced bullying, as well as those who may need guidance to improve their behaviour. At St Peter’s, we believe every child has the right to feel safe, included and respected. If you have any concerns, please contact a member of the school’s leadership team via the main school office so we can work together to support your child.
