As a governor, I feel I am in a privileged position. The role allows me to work alongside other members of our school community and to make decisions that will have an impact on every child that attends our school. I began teaching in 1999 and I have always worked within the Tameside Authority. I was a school governor at my previous two schools; Lyndhurst and Parochial C.E. and thoroughly enjoyed the role.

I have been a parent at St Peter's school for many years. I love how inclusive and nurturing is to every pupil. I am passionate about children reaching their full potential. I hope I can make a positive contribution to the school by being a governor.
