The council promotes our Christian Values around school.

Our actions this year

  • Lead worship assemblies.
  • Complete, open and help to manage our prayer garden.
  • Raise money for and work with charities: Operation Christmas child and Infinity Initiative in the Autumn term 2017; Willow Wood hospice for the full calendar year of 2018.

The Prayer Garden Grand Opening

Willow Wood fundraising launch

We have chosen to raise money for Willow Wood for the calendar year 2018.

Chris from Willow Wood came in to launch our fundraising year with a special assembly. Woody even came too!

Some of our children will also be taking part in a special linking project with Willow Wood, starting in May.

Our new prayer garden

Our new prayer garden is a place for all the children to reflect and pray. It is also a place for us to think about and remember the people we love.

Our children and staff, facilitated by the Ethos council, have all worked hard to design and create our prayer garden. In council meetings and classes we have thought a lot about how we want our garden to be used.

In November the Ethos council children led the grand opening of our prayer garden. We were very glad that we were joined by Reverend George, Mrs Hussain and some of our children, staff and governors.

Our prayer garden guardians and all our children are now stewards of our special new reflection area.

Willow Wood fundraising
